The 16 GB model of Apple iPhone 5 from Apple will be available in India for Rs 45,000 later this month. The 32 GB memory model may cost the user about Rs 50,000.
The latest iPhone5 from the Cupertino giant has been much awaited in India. The phone will be will be available in India from October 26 at one of the Apple Service Centers in India, The Mobile Indian revealed. The 16 GB model of iPhone 5 will cost approximately Rs 45,000, while the 32 GB model will cost approximately Rs 50,000 said the news report.
The new lighter, thinner and faster 4 inch Retina IPS display iPhone 5 was released last month in a grand launch event. IT uses the latest iOS 6 operating system which supports 4G LTE connectivity.
Indian telecom players are getting ready to supply nano-SIM cards to users for the new iPhone. According to BGR, AirTel and Vodafone have already placed orders for new nano-SIM cards, which also point to Apple releasing the iPhone 5 in India soon. Aircel is also said to be placing orders for the new smaller SIM cards.
